Markeilia started making jewelry since she was seven years old in Jamaica. She would eagerly follow her mother to the market, in hopes that she could buy beads and string for her craft. Markeilia would spend most of her free time making bracelets for those around her. Over the years, her beading style has changed, but her desire to give back to those around her hasn’t.

Now through Keilias she’s able to create beautiful pieces for everyone while giving back to those in need. Launching in October 2023 means the world to Markeilia because women in her family have suffered from breast cancer. To honor them, the first charity Keilias will donate to is the Breast Cancer Research Fund. At Keilias, we craft for a cause.
